Men Hairstyle & Men Haircut

As long as he has some, a man’s hair can tell you about who he is. How he maintains and wears his hair can tell you a lot about how he handles himself and what he wants to accomplish. It’s also important for a man to choose a hairstyle that fits the size and shape of his face, the length of his neck and the size of his forehead and chin. Choosing a style to match your features will give you a stronger, more attractive look that says a lot about your personal style.

Men Hairstyle

The most popular hairstyle for men is the short cut. Short cuts allow for a sleek and fun look. But men’s hairstyles can range from tapered looks to buzz cuts and layered to more business-oriented. Many men find it best to cut their hair so it matches the shape of their face.

Buzz cuts are for men who prefer clean cuts that they don’t have to worry about. This is because a buzz cut hairstyle is extremely short and can be known also as a skinhead cut. But buzz cuts have mutated into different styles where the man can keep bangs and fades to express their individuality.

The Caesar cut is another popular hairstyle among men who prefer shorter hair. Named for Julius Caesar, the hairstyle is fashioned into a horizontal straight fringe. If you like the Mohawk look, but are unwilling to go the entire way, perhaps the faux hawk is what you’re looking for. It is similar to the Mohawk, except that the faux hawk hairstyle lets you keep your hair and is styled so that is appears as a Mohawk. It’s easy and may be more attractive to the ladies in place of the Mohawk.
Another short hairstyle option for a man is the business cut. This involves cutting the hair short and making it look conservative, but stylish. The hair gets tapered in the back and on the sides with a part on either side. Ask your stylist for several variations on this type of hairstyle.

To achieve a fade hairstyle, have the hair cut very close in the back and on the sides, then taper the hair upward. Variations on this hairstyle include the Philly Fade, Temple Fade, Brooklyn Fade, Low Fade and the Flat Top Fade. The Flat top fade has found favor with young men and people in the military because of its ease of care.
